SCREENING FAQS

WHO CAN TAKE PART?

Absolutely anyone, whether you are at school, in a film club, run an environmental group or just someone who wants to show TRASHED to their local community, get in touch about screening the film.

I'VE NEVER HOSTED A SCREENING BEFORE, DOES THAT MATTER?

Absolutely not! We welcome anyone who is interested in TRASHED and the issues raised to host a screening of their own. We are happy to help you wherever we can - we want the screening to be a success as much as you do! Feel free to ask us any questions you have about how to host a screening.

DO I NEED A SPECIAL LICENSE?

No, TRASHED provides you with the license rights to screen the film. Because it's a public event, you need to check the venue has a premises license. If not, a temporary event notice can be organize.

WHAT DO YOU PROVIDE?

We will send you a screening DVD a few days before your event. Please check with your chosen venue that they have the right equipment or ability to accommodate it before confirming the screening.

CAN I KEEP THE DVD?

In order to keep manufacturing costs (and thus use of plastic) down, and to ensure as many people as possible have the chance to see the film, we ask that you return the DVD after your screening. The film will be available to buy in April 2013.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

This depends on who the film will be screened for. Below is a rough guide to screening costs (in British pounds). Please be aware these can vary for screenings outside the UK. VAT is applicable on UK and European screening costs. Please get in touch for more details.

Individual / Film Society 200
Student Union (UK Only) 150
Education (school, university, college) 200
Small Business / Organization 250
Corporation / National Organization 500
